About Classic Still Life : The scenes may be a found or arranged still life. Subjects should typically be the sort of items and scenes one would find prior to the modern era. Ie. no electronics etc.
The scenes should be lit by natural light, candle light, or at least look natural in their lighting. That is to say not looking like it was shot in a light box sans background, not backlit, etc. etc. etc. ( text from Flickr classic still life art group )
